CANA members believe that it will take all of us to stop dangerous climate change, and that by working together we can achieve the goal of a safe and stable climate for this and future generations.

The CANA conference will inform on the latest climate science, explore the social impacts of climate change and outline what we must do to Stop Dangerous Climate Change.

Conference Outline

29th Sept Morning Open Session:
  Open to all. A comprehensive overview on the latest climate science, environmental and social impacts and policy settings. A morning of the highest calibre speakers.
   
  Afternoon NGO Session:
  CANA Members + other NGOs. This session is designed to engage development agencies, the health sector, union representatives, the social sector and transport activists and explore the urgency for action on climate change and develop pathways forward together.
   
  Evening
  Launch: Citizens Guide to Climate Change Refugees Friends of the Earth Australia will launch the Citizens Guide to Climate Refugees at CANA Conference from 5.30 to 6.30pm. Drinks provided.
   
30th Sept CANA Member Only:
Exclusive CANA Member only session with focus on strategy development, campaign priorities.

The CANA Conference provides a platform for discussion and debate. It is a chance to exchange ideas and explore new relationships, broadening the climate change community to encompass social, financial and environmental aspects of climate change. At the CANA Conference a long term strategy for climate change campaigning - as well as the focus for the coming year is established.
